OK, First of all, I'd like to remind everyone that this post is late. I'm still hoping to catch up soon. Secondly, I did try to get to vote, but didn't get a reply from my hometown voter registration.
Absentee ballots for many states can trickle in for up to two weeks after the election. (Each state has different rules.) You can vote a write-in ballot via http://www.votefromabroad.com/ and mail it in if you're game. I've been registering voters in Cambodia for the last 6 weeks.
