I don't know if I'm gonna have time for Alcon this year. I might if I knew what it was...
eh? it's the Tasmanian Anime convention...'Anime Island' is the 'AI'...i think they have a website at www.aicon.org.au, but it's been having technical trouble...
a lot of japanese culture stuff, (hello kitty everywhere), competitions, dress-ups, and an art room with an art comp.
it's over now, but it hits once a year, usually late febuary...next years is likely to be at wrest point, or something.
Scott McCloud would be proud.
