when i was just starting out drawing, i contacted local artist sarah howell, and i was even invited to a 'comics jam'...which i politely refused because at the time i had been actively drawing for perhaps two months.
that was the last i heard of tasmania's underground comic scene until rachele mentioned your work to me.
today's comic is interesting for me because i've always treated my own arts development as an individual challenge, with little or no direct help, aside from textbooks, etc. so RL arts communities are kind of alien to me.
