Guilt From Beyond The Grave

Anybody who doesn't know Norman Lindsay, should check him out. He's one of my favourite Australian artists. He was a real cranky git, too. They've even made a movie about him.

Yikes! I think we should reconsider how we approach the people we admire, then. Quite a nice way to portray something so disquieting...

I know exactly what you mean. I think Kochalka probably really enjoys getting comics from fans. But sending it in the right spirit is also important I think. I've had thoughts similar to this when trying to be best friends with Dorothy Gambrell. (It hasn't happened ...yet.)

I'm so glad I'm getting some sympathy on this one. I was afraid I was thinking about it too much.

(laughs) i'd be lying if that wasn't perhaps a background thought while i was inking the comic i made for you. but it's no biggy.

yeah, i used to be the guy at the fence all the time...mainly sending annoying emails rather than harrasing people in person though. i think most of us have been there...

Can't you do both? See and be seen? All artists want their stuff to be seen. Because art is a communication tool. What is the point of art if nobody sees it?
